About Viacheslav
Viacheslav Lakomkin is a journalist based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Hello!
My name is Viacheslav Lakomkin, and I am a freelance video journalist from Ukraine. Before the war, I worked for the national television channel "Ukraina." With the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, I started working as a war correspondent on the project "Ukrainian Witness." Later, I joined the TV channel "Belsat," where I continued my work in combat zones. I have my own filming crew, including a vehicle, accommodation in Kramatorsk, a driver-operator, and a video editor. I primarily work in combat zones and have established contacts with military brigades in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv sectors, where I have repeatedly captured exclusive footage. Additionally, I cover social and other topics across Ukraine. For the past two years, my team has been producing content for Telewizja Polska and the program "Вот Так."
