I am a multi-award winning environment, climate, agro-ecology, and science investigative journalist from Zimbabwe with twenty years’ experience. I like covering solutions and constructive journalism stories focusing on media deprived people in marginalized areas. I also report on illicit financial outflows bleeding Zimbabwe, mainly in the mining sector. Some of my stories featured in The Washington Post and Mongabay. I have also written for the country’s biggest privately owned daily, The Newsday, as well as its sister weeklies, The Standard and The Independent. He has collaborated with Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism (South Africa) on a number of projects like the #PowerTracker programme. I have been a fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford (Oct 2017-March 2018) and hold a Masters degree in Media and Society Studies from the Midlands State University.
