They were Killing the journalists. They killed many of them and after 6 months I forced to move to Baghdad city and lived in suburban for more protection and worked at satellite Baghdad television in 2009. My position was photographer, editor for videos and producer for programs.
In 2010 I return to Mosul and work in Al-Baghdadiya channel until the control of the ISIS occupation in Mosul.
Then ISIS members arrested me and held me for a month. At the same time, I was tortured physically an psychologically.
After release, I left the city and run away with my family to the Kurdistan region. There I got a job as a reporter at Associated Press. All my work focused on the areas controlled by ISIS, especially Mosul city.
At the moment I work as a multimedia correspondent from the Middle East Broadcasting Network
As I did a large number of stories and I still see in myself the ability to do more of the work that dictated to my organization, which I try to get a place of respect and provide all that is within the ethics of the profession sincerely
