Participants will receive tailored support, workshops, and expert guidance to accelerate digital growth and diversify revenue streams. Since its inception in 2019, Table Stakes has aided 81 publishers from 17 countries in deepening audience engagement and transitioning to digital.

Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Ukrainian media has faced unprecedented challenges, with at least 230 news titles succumbing, according to the Institute of Mass Information. Journalists have had to adapt to war reporting, with some joining the frontlines and others documenting war crimes. Despite the difficulties, Ukrainian media has received substantial international support, including from AIRPPU and WAN-IFRA. The media landscape in Ukraine has seen significant progress over the past decade, with improvements in press freedom and media transparency, as evidenced by Ukraine's rise in the RSF World Press Freedom Index from 126th in 2013 to 79th in 2023.
