Michael Jordan: The Future of NASCAR?
25 Apr 2024  |  EpochTimesParis  |  French  |  Celebrity
Michael Jordan, co-owner of the 23XI Racing team with Denny Hamlin, celebrated a victory as their driver Tyler Reddick won the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. This marked the first race Jordan attended in person as a team owner. Jordan, a former NBA star with six championships and numerous accolades, has developed a passion for racing, comparing the excitement to NBA playoff games. Despite not having control over the race as he did in basketball, Jordan enjoys the competitive aspect of NASCAR. 23XI Racing, which combines Jordan's iconic jersey number 23 and Hamlin's number 11, has seen success since its inception, including a win by Bubba Wallace at Talladega in their first season and the addition of a second car driven by Kurt Busch.

Study Flags Hurdles In India’s Critical Mineral Supply Chains
20 Feb 2025  |  stratnewsglobal.com  |  English  |  Green Energy
India's path to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070 is hindered by vulnerabilities in critical mineral supply chains, as highlighted by a report from the Centre for Social and Economic Progress. The report underscores the need for resilient supply networks to support green energy ambitions, noting the global concentration of mineral extraction and processing, particularly in China, as a significant challenge. Despite efforts to boost domestic availability through auctions, success has been limited. The report recommends incentivizing domestic processing, recycling, and strengthening partnerships with regional institutions. Without decisive action, India risks increased import dependence and exposure to supply shocks.
