Renumbering G/L Account Process in a 3-System Landscape in S/4HANA Cloud
05 Aug 2023  |  community.sap.com  |  English  |  S/4HANA Cloud
The renumbering process of G/L accounts in S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition, allows organizations to adapt the standard chart of accounts to meet specific requirements. This process involves renumbering and renaming G/L accounts in the Development System and transporting them to the Quality and Production systems. It is crucial to ensure no postings in the Test and Production systems during renumbering. The process also includes marking unused G/L accounts as 'Not Used' to prevent them from being transported to the Production system. Renumbering should be done carefully, especially for accounts involved in automatic account determination, to avoid transaction errors. The process is not available in the Starter System and requires specific authorizations. Detailed instructions and resources are available on the SAP Help Portal and the roadmap viewer.

French Alps: The New Eldorado of British Craft Beers
15 Jan 2024  |  fr.euronews.com  |  French  |  French Alps
In the picturesque French Alps, British entrepreneurs have found success in the craft beer and distillery industry. Big Mountain Brewery in Chamonix, founded by Jack Geldard and Matt Livingstone, offers locally brewed beers like the Blonde Mountain Lager. How legal medical cannabis patients are being forced onto illicit drugs market
05 Apr 2023  |  The National  |  English  |  Law Enforcement Practices
The article discusses the case of Liam Lewis, a medical cannabis patient in Shetland, Scotland, whose legal cannabis oil was confiscated by Police Scotland despite presenting a Medcan ID card and prescriptions from Sapphire Medical Clinics. The incident underscores the lack of understanding and education among police officers regarding the legal use of medical cannabis. The article criticizes the high number of cannabis seizures in Scotland and the country's drug policy, suggesting a need for reform towards decriminalization and harm reduction. It also highlights the inefficiency of stop-and-search practices focused on drug possession, which may detract from addressing more serious crimes and contribute to negative police-community relations. Oracle has announced the addition of over 200 AI features to its NetSuite software, aiming to enhance productivity across various business functions without charging extra fees. This move positions Oracle against competitors like Salesforce, Microsoft, and Box, who have also integrated generative AI into their offerings without raising prices.
