About Zobaer
Zobaer Ahmed is a journalist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Worldwide newsrooms are converging; so he diversifies. Though Broadcast Journalism is his niche, over the years he has prepared himself (through experience and formal education and training) to work in any converged newsroom. 

He has a track record of working in two leading television channels (Banglavision and Maasranga TV) in Bangladesh since 2006. Basically he does journalism, though his roles have varied as reporter, producer, anchor, director, script writer, assignment editor, planner, and team coordinator. 

He did regular news coverage in the field of politics, business, energy, environment, and sports. He designed and produced news shows, wrote scripts for them, and also wrote, directed and produced news documentaries. He also anchored news shows and current affairs programs.

He has worked with CNN and Deutsche Welle Bangla. In DW, he has produced special multimedia reports for online, made web-videos, and also managed their social media pages. 

He studied and got training on investigative reporting, data journalism, multimedia journalism and narrative journalism in Bangladesh (at MRDI), Singapore (as AJF Fellow), Philippines (as ACFJ Fellow) and Germany (at DW).

He has just finished a research on representation of Rohingyas in Bangladeshi and Burmese newspapers.
