An informal mini-user survey conducted by Yusef Taylor and Amran Gaye analyzed the internet speeds of 52 Gambian internet users following the introduction of 5G. The survey, which collected data via social media, found that Africell had the highest average download speed at 24.2 Mbps, followed by QCell at 8.2 Mbps. The highest recorded download speed was 88 Mbps by Africell in Kanifing.
