About Wahany
Based in Dakar, Wahany Johnson Sambou is a graduate of the Center for Studies in Information Science (CESTI) at Cheikh Anta Diop University, with a Master's degree in Information and Communication Science from Cesti (High Honors).

The one who was to be a footballer in another life began his career with the daily newspaper "Le Journal" in Dakar, in 2004. He left after one to devote himself to his studies before returning to the profession. Thus, for 3 years, between 2006 and 2009, he was presenter, commentator, head of the Sports desk of Radio Océan Fm in Dakar.

He works on the daily newspaper "Le Soleil" (2010-2015) while collaborating with Radio Senegal (2010-2011), the car magazine "Déclic Cars" (2014-2015) and the Orange Senegal website www.ndamli.sn ( 2011-2016).

From October 2015 to July 2020, he worked for Africanews (the African channel of Euronews based in Congo Brazzaville) where he was presenter of "Football Planet", a program devoted to football down.
He works since april 2020 for Sport News Africa a Sports african website.
