Today I was the camera person responsible for business stories (41:12mins), starting off with an interview with the CEO of the Tourism Business Council Board as they asked for government support to achieve the US$5M Tourism economy growth. Later on in the day, l then caught up with an Economist and former member of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe monetary policy Eddie Cross on the cross reflections of the 2023 gains and what to look forward to in 2024.
I was responsible for the visuals of today's lead story as I attended a local town planners training session where the minister of Public Works and National Housing officially opened the training session.
I was responsible for the camera work on today's lead story with the Honorable Minister of Primary and Secondary education on schools opening and their preparedness to tackle the cholera outbreak. I also did an Arts & Entertainment story on popular local Zim disc jockey (DJ) Levels.
A story l worked on as the camera person, as cotton farmers were bemoaning late payments.
Chess for Christ Initiative at Chirukubi Farm Maximum Prison, this is a story l did on inmates at Zimbabwe's Maximum Security prison on inmates who are defying odds by (virtually) participating in chess tournaments against inmates from other countries. I was responsible for the camera work on this story.
A press conference /story l did with the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) ban on the counterfeit selling of medicines with codeine, l was responsible for the camera work here.
