The voters, who are casting their ballots at places including the Turkish Embassy in Washington, consulates in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Boston, Miami, Chicago, as well as in Pennsauken, New Jersey, and Holtsville, Long Island, have until May 7th at the consulates and May 1st at the two new locations in New York to vote. The number of registered Turkish voters in the US has increased by 28,017 since the June 2018 elections, reaching 134,245. A significant increase in voter turnout is expected compared to the 50% turnout rate among Turkish citizens in the US during the 2018 elections.
