Mohammad Tauhidul Islam is Dhaka (Capital of Bangladesh) based broadcast journalist, popularly known as Mohammad Tauhid. He spent 10 years in TV journalism; specialize in business and economic news.  External trade relations, international organization i.e. IMF, World Bank, WTO issues related to Bangladesh, commodity and money market is his area of work. He is also interested in climate change and development challenge.
Last few years, he turned his focus on governance and corruption related stories.  He was awarded best reporter in 2012 for investigating Niko bribery Scandal in Bangladesh and Canada by Economic Reporters Forum (ERF). He trained in International Anti-corruption Academy (IACA) to enhance his knowledge base in corruption fighting and journalistic purpose.  He was awarded UN  RAF memorial journalist fellowship in 2015. As a fellow joined  70th general assembly and SDG summit in UN .
Mr. Islam completed his graduation on International Relations from Dhaka University. After completion of graduation, part time feature reporter turned to a journalist. Now it is passion for him to uncover new stories which, serves peoples interest and raise policy debate.  34 years old Mr. Islam served two tv station previously (NTV and Banglavision) and covered Rana Plaza disaster, WTO eighth ministerial conference in 2011, US Presidential election in 2008, global commodity market volatility and rice crisis and many more important event.  He is also alumni of Reuters foundation.

Researchers at the Discovery Analytics Center at Virginia Tech have developed the Supreme Court Ideal Point Miner (SCIPM), a model that uses machine learning to analyze justices' judicial preferences and voting behavior. The model can predict justices' votes with 79.46 percent accuracy and identify swing justices like Anthony Kennedy and John Roberts Jr. The article also highlights the distinct ideological stance of Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Fourth Amendment issues.
