Mereoni Mili is a television journalist with over five years of experience. She joined Fiji Television Limited in 2019 and has been with the organisation since. She is based in the capital of Fiji, Suva. She covers a range of issues, be it politics, social issues and current affairs. She is passionate about the environment and the challenges posed by climate change to her homeland. Mereoni’s passion for journalism and storytelling started in high school and she has a degree in Journalism and Sociology from the University of the South Pacific.  A recent story she did on climate change and human rights was recognised at the prestigious 2024 ABU Asiavision Awards in Bangkok for Best Reporting on Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
