Martin Okudi is a journalist based in Adjumani, Uganda.

Martin Okudi is a seasoned award-winning freelance journalist with fifteen years of experience. He has worked with different local, national and international media houses. He is a resident in West Nile sub-region of Uganda which is hosting over one 1,000,000 South Sudanese refugees from the neighboring South Sudan. He has worked with print, online and broadcast media houses. Okudi has also worked as a fixer with international media houses. His articles mainly focus on refugees and climate change. He specializes in covering stories related to refugees, climate change, minority groups,  sexual gender based violence, illicit cross boader trade and food insecurity particularly in the West Nile sub-region of Uganda. His reporting sheds light on the experiences of refugees and the environmental challenges affecting the region.

Okudi is active on social media, notably, where he shares updates and insights from his work. He has reported on significant events and contributions, such as the donation of vehicles by the German development agency GIZ to refugee-hosting districts.
