The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres criticized the criminal lack of leadership by world leaders in combating climate change. The report also highlights that between 3.3 and 3.6 billion people are highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, and that immediate and ambitious measures are required to adapt to climate change while rapidly reducing emissions.
