Jack Losh is a journalist and filmmaker whose focus spans conflict, conservation, humanitarian issues and traditional cultures. With over a decade of experience across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, he has been shortlisted for a Royal Television Society Award and Europe’s top war reporting prize, the Prix Bayeux, among others. He has directed and produced documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4, Al Jazeera, VICE News and The Guardian, with words and photos published by The New York Times, The Washington Post and National Geographic. He regularly speaks on the BBC, Sky News, Al Jazeera and other major broadcasters. His most recent assignments have been in Ukraine to cover Russia’s full-scale invasion across the southern, eastern and northern fronts, embedding with firemen, paramedics, special forces and civilians under bombardment.
