Eamonn Holmes defended Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers after he was criticized for using 'casual sexism' by calling BBC reporter Jane Lewis a 'good girl' during a post-match interview. Rodgers, accused of being a 'dinosaur' by women's groups, has not apologized, and the BBC has remained silent. A source close to Lewis stated she was not fazed by the comment but was frustrated by the interview's abrupt end. The Scottish Feminist Network and For Women Scotland have criticized Rodgers' condescension and called for an apology. Meanwhile, former Hibs player Tam McManus and broadcaster Jeff Stelling expressed their disapproval of Rodgers' remarks. Rodgers is facing pressure in a tight title race with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
