Gautam Doshi is a multimedia journalist and a documentary photographer based in Mumbai who is interested in human rights, climate change, environmental issues, development and systemic barriers, and rights for people with disabilities. In August 2019, Gautam received the Bob & Diane Fund (by Ms. Gina Martin) Grant to attend the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Kigali, Rwanda to pursue a short story on Alzheimer's disease which was used and published on Bob & Diane Fund's web and social media pages. In September 2019, Gautam also won a VII Academy Scholarship and Travel Grant to participate in the exhaustive VII Photo's Masterclass Barcelona 2019-20, which is an exhaustive training program of 3 workshops (in September, December 2019 and March 2020) in documentary photography and visual journalism. Gautam is currently pursuing a personal project to make a film on those with ALS in India. He also works as a correspondent for T3 India - a tech magazine - and is a freelance photographer.
