Enric is a documentary photographer and videogrpaher who has been based in Cambodia since 2015, working on photography assignments throughout Southeast Asia. Enric has worked on assignments for the Wall Street Journal, Al Jazeera, the Guardian, and National Geographic. He also has extensive experience working with international NGOs, including UNICEF, WHO, UNDP, UNWomen, and ILO. He speaks English, Spanish, Catalan and basic level Khmer.

Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh was built over wetlands several centuries ago, while the city had been coexisting with this geographic reality the present government has decided that nature needs to be tained in a way. Several water bodies along the city which act as a buffer in rainy season preventing damaging floods have been filled and reclaimed by a real estate frenzy. We documented this for South China Morning Post with Ate Hoekstra and Sineat Youn.
COVID times hit hard on a coutry like Cambodia where there is a really weak social safety net, many families who had been improving their livelihoods in the years previous to the pandemic saw how the floor under their feet opened once again and many fell through the cracks. I documented this in a series of articles for South East Asia Globe with talented jounralist Andrew Haffner.
