The study investigates the impact of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) on the production efficiency of fish farms in Ghana. Data from earthen pond fish farms in the Bono East and Ashanti regions were analyzed using data envelopment analysis (DEA) and the IV Tobit technique. Findings indicate that NCDs among household members reduce farm production efficiency, with a more significant impact observed among female members. The study suggests that the government should provide subsidized health insurance and promote health literacy to improve agricultural growth. It also highlights the need for policies encouraging fish farm households to join cooperative organizations and access financial services to enhance production capacity.
