Burak Utucu is a journalist based in İstanbul, Turkey.

He studied Radio & Television at İzmir University of Economics between 2013 - 2015. Then, he got Anadolu University Journalism department in 2015. He worked as a video editor intern at Hurriyet Newspaper during 2015 winter and summer. He made my abroad internship in London between June and September 2017 at Videoplugger which is production company. He studied Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland between October 2017 and July 2018. He graduated in 2020 May from Anadolu University.

He started become freelance journalist for Journo.com in 2019 while he was student. He worked as a freelancer for Al Jazeera English in Izmir earthquake. He got a full time job in 2021 February. He worked as a news editor for Kapsul Bulten until 2021 October. After that, he worked with Independent Turkish as a video journalist until 2023 October. He improved myself about solo journalism and MOJO. Lastly, he worked for Balkan Insight, Turkish Journalists Association, Teyit.org as freelancer.
