Utilizing a hydrothermal method, the research demonstrates that CuAl-LDH and MnAl-LDH materials achieve significant MB degradation under visible light, with efficiencies of 74.95% and 70.93% respectively, within 180 minutes. The materials exhibit excellent reusability over four cycles, maintaining over 90% structural integrity. The study highlights the potential of these low-cost, environmentally friendly photocatalysts for industrial wastewater treatment, emphasizing their structural and physicochemical properties that enhance photocatalytic performance.
