Azam Gorgin is a journalist based in Los Angeles, United States of America. Azam Kossari Gorgin studied English Literature in London, UK.  In Iran (during the Revolution) she worked for Mike Wallace of CBS 60 Minutes.  In the US, she worked as a staff writer for US State Department.  In Europe, as a news researcher and correspondent, for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague, CZ Republic from 1990-2008.  She covered Iranian refugees’ conditions, and wrote feature stories on social and political issues in Iran and Afghanistan. She interviewed political dissidents, Iranian artists and government officials in Iran and helped nonprofit organizations in the US reach Iranian charity entities for the youths in need.   She has written extensively on the aforesaid subject matters and produced more than 70 feature stories which can be found on RF/ERL.org archive.
