Laguna Niguel Small Businesses Could Receive A $2,500 Grant
Small businesses in Laguna Niguel and Dana Point affected by the COVID-19 economic downturn can apply for a $2,500 grant through a partnership between the County of Orange and several cities. The grant, part of the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, is available to businesses meeting specific criteria, including being physically located in Orange County, operating before December 31, 2019, and having less than $50,000 in revenue for the 2019 tax year. Priority will be given to sidewalk vendors, businesses impacted by the pandemic, and those owned by women, veterans, minorities, undocumented individuals, and people with English as a second language.
R.H. Dana Makes Financial Literacy Program Permanent: Report

Registration Now Open For Lake Forest Fourth Of July Parade
Lake Forest's Fourth of July Parade is set to return this summer after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to high COVID-19 case counts. The parade will start at El Toro High School at 10 a.m. on July 4. Nonprofit groups and private clubs can now register to participate, with entry fees set at $25 for nonprofits and $50 for private entities.
