Adam Ferguson (b.1978) was born and grew up in regional New South Wales, Australia before studying photography at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Upon graduating Ferguson received a Griffith University Peace Scholarship involving him in his first international assignment in Cambodia. After freelancing in Mexico, he travelled from port to port as crew on a sailboat to fund the start of his photographic career. From 2007 to 2010 Ferguson based himself in New Delhi, India and developed an uncompromising body of work that explores the social and political complexities of South Asia. Of particular note is his sustained survey of the US-led military occupation of Afghanistan, where he continues to work. Since that time he has also worked in Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Palestinian Territories, Greece, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Pakistan, Kenya, Egypt and Australia, among others. While having a career emphasis on the impact of geopolitics, Ferguson is a visual storyteller that works across artistic, photojournalistic and commercial spheres. He lives in New York and is working on two monographs: a war diary of his time in Afghanistan and a critique of contemporary regional Australian identity. Puppies abandoned at local Pizza Hut over the weekend

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has been recognized by Site Selection magazine as the top economic development organization in the U.S. for areas with populations between 50,000 and 200,000. This marks the 11th consecutive year Bowling Green has ranked highly, with President Ron Bunch attributing the success to a strong team and supportive local government. The Chamber plans to continue its economic momentum into 2024, with several new projects expected to be announced soon. Statewide tornado drill to occur next Wednesday
Warren County will participate in a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 6, starting at 9:07 a.m., during which outdoor emergency sirens will be activated for about three minutes. This drill is part of Kentucky's Severe Weather Awareness Week from March 1-7. Travis Puckett, Deputy Director for Warren County Emergency Management, advises having multiple alert systems and notes that the drill may be delayed if severe weather is expected.
