Jibi Moses is a journalist based in Juba, South Sudan, an administrator, a researcher, and a fact-checker with over five years of experience in media work. With reputable research, investigative data journalism, and management skills. Trained and certified fact-checker. Gotten training from 211 Check, Code for Africa, Africa Check, DFRLab, and IFCN on various topics in fact-checking. I was a fact-checking fellow and later associate editor at 211 Check under Defyhatenow. Currently an African Union Media Fellow, a fellowship programme led by the African Union with support from GIZ and the European Union. Through which I have attended several conferences within Africa and Europe, including monitoring the European Parliamentary elections in Brussels and the Global Media Forum in Bonn (both in 2024). In addition to fact-checking, I am also a trainer in the area of information disorder and, with my colleague at the AUMF2.0, designed a fact-checking toolkit.
