Ivanna Shvets

I'm a Ukrainian journalist and communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, media management and political reporting. Trained in journalism and political science, has worked as a reporter for the Ukrainian service of Czech Radio and previously led press and public relations departments in Sevastopol and other regional institutions, coordinating campaigns, managing teams and shaping public communication strategies.  

Following the annexation of Crimea, I was forced to leave her home region and rebuild career in Europe, where continues to work in independent media and civic‑minded projects, bringing a deep understanding of conflict, displacement and information warfare. Drawing on this background, specialises in explaining complex political and social developments to broad audiences, designing clear communication processes in multilingual environments, and supporting organisations whose missions focus on democracy, transparency and human rights.
