At the end of the 2025-2026 academic year, THE UNIVERSITY OF KIKWIT/UNIKIK, in the Province of Kwilu, in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo/DRC, has just sent more than 200 graduates who completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees onto the job market. The event took place on Saturday, August 08, 2026 during a dual ceremony, namely the conferral of academic degrees and the closing of the academic year
The issue of dialogue aimed at restoring peace in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) remains a pressing concern and is the subject of much discussion both within this vast country and abroad. Since Head of State Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo agreed to hold this dialogue in the coming days, many initiatives have been set in motion.
With this in mind, the Gauthier Kamashi Kirbine Foundation (FGKK)—a Congolese development foundation based in the Bulungu territory of Kwilu Province in the southwestern DRC—organized a morning event to raise awareness and foster understanding on the theme “Dialogue in the Context of the DRC: History, Milestones, Outcomes, Consequences, and Future Prospects.
